Guest Night Spring 2016

Tuesday, April 12, 2016

Few experiences can compare with the excitement of singing 4-part harmony with other men who share your passion for a cappella singing. With expert guidance to help you learn to sing better, Voices in Harmony provides a welcoming environment for any male looking to explore their love of singing, and the opportunity to pursue musical excellence. Though we explore a range of musical styles, Barbershop music is our foundation. If you have never experienced the thrill of ringing a Barbershop chord, you owe it to yourself to come check us out. Hope to see you on April 12!

Lies in the Attic, an A Cappella Musical with Songs by The Beatles - Dublin

  • Dublin High School Center for the Performing Arts

This original production features songs by the legendary Beatles of Liverpool, England, who shaped the decade of the 1960’s.  Invading the shores of the USA with a message of hope , love and peace, the Beatles ignited a counter-cultural revolution, triggering the moral awakening for civic justice that even today — exactly a half-century after the Beatle’s final tour in March 1966 — continues to define our most pressing social challenges.  The Beatles’ music continues to be loved by young and old today.   “Lies In The Attic” summons the music of the Beatles in an original coming-of-age story about a father-son struggle to speak the truth and be heard.   High school senior, Sam Judick has just gotten in trouble with the police and his father, Randall, wants answers. But honesty is a two-way street, as Randall learns, when long-forgotten mementos and “ghosts in the attic” unleash memories of his turbulent youth.

  • Created and Executive Produced by Randy Haykin
  • Written and Directed by David Cowan
  • Produced by Jeff Asbury
  • Performed by Voices in Harmony
  • Under the Musical Direction of Chris Hebert
